Customs authorities have seized over 1,000 kilograms of cannabis worth over 100 million baht, hidden in 7 big box which were waiting to be delivered to United Kingdom through Laem Chabang port in Chon Buri, Thailand

the Customs Department stated that the haul was found after authorities decided to X-ray a shipping container they deemed suspicious as the inspection discovered including cannabis buds, cannabis brick and cannabis pre-roll, However the first batch of export declarations got 153.30 kilograms of cannabis buds meanwhile the second batch reveal cannabis products weighing 1,300 kilograms

Furthermore, the penalty for illegally exporting cannabis is imprisonment for a maximum of 5 years. In the case of selling, producing, importing, or exporting, the penalty is imprisonment for a maximum of 14 years, an unlimited fine, or both.
