Chuvit Faces Cannabis Defamation Charges

The politic whistleblower Chuvit Kamolvisit is facing defamation charges filed in connection with remarks he made this year about anti-cannabis campaign that controversial revelations sparkling massive concern over the recreational cannabis have been harmed children and society

Bhumjai Thai party had file a defamation lawsuit against Chuwit after the former massage parlour tycoon accused the cannabis industry and political party that making legalization come true. Chuwit has made serious allegations against the Bhumjai Thai party as well as their marijuana policy.

Mr Chuvit’s verbal attack had a detrimental impact on the cannabis users and the party that removed the prohibition and made accusations that cannabis harmful to children and youths, So he may faces imprisoned punishment for a set amount of time .

“The defendant led political activities such as press conferences and public inflammatory  statements against the marijuana freedom policy, misled the marijuana development policy, there were also several booklets outlining the negative aspects of marijuana.”

According to Article 326 of the Constitution, “This wording makes people understand that marijuana and the Thai Pride Party are bad things, which society misunderstand cannabis benefit and Bhumjai Thai party lost its political votes

As a result, the court took the defendant’s summons into consideration, asked to hear the testimony and scheduled the witness’s summons for February 25, 2024
