Pot activists vow to protest against the new cannabis bill that the government aims to restrict cannabis recreational and prohibit household cultivation, which could affect human rights as well as disrupt the entire cannabis industry and cause confusion in society
Thailand’s cannabis movement network called for a big crowd to demand marijuana users’ rights as Thailand Cannabis Association will submit a letter to Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin on this 8th March along with organize a big protest demanding for consumer rights protection at Lan Khon Meaung townsquare in Bangkok on 8th March at 6.00 P.M onward. Meanwhile, the Thai Cannabis Future Writing Network will submit a letter to Ministry of Justice on this 6th March (1.00 P.M. onward) opposing the delist policy that could set cannabis back into a narcotic list and demand that the government should clarify the health-harmful of alcohol and cigarette comparison with cannabis
Mr. Prasitchai Noonuan, leader of the Thai Marijuana Future Writing Network, has announced that he plans to submit a letter to the Ministry of Justice on 6th March (1.00 PM), requesting clarification on the hazards of alcohol and cigarettes.
