Cannabis Fraud Caused THB 500 Million in Loses

Marijuana growers from the northeastern region have filed complaints with lawyers to assist in this lawsuit as a scam stole over 500 million baht from a cannabis farm project which is finally up in the air.

Scammer company announced to investment in a cannabis plantation with an option to jointly raise funds for the project. They allegedly enticed people into investing in a cannabis seed and the plantation which they claimed that big name company was supporting the project with a large amount of demand.

“The fraud representative sold us cannabis seedlings. Claiming to have purchased marijuana items and sent them to well-known beer firms for the creation of cannabis beer, guaranteeing a return within three months.” Said one of the victim
